Jeff has 25 years of business, nonprofit, and private charitable foundation executive leadership and consulting experience. Author of two books on philanthropy and fundraising, he speaks and publishes regularly on philanthropy, civil society, nonprofit management, and fundraising. With a Ph.D. in English, he has taught at Washington State University and Olympic College. Jeff served honorably in the United States Marine Corps as a combat motorcycle operator. In 2023, he founded Lemolo Bay Advisors to assist nonprofits whose missions are unambiguously good. More.

Nyomi has been Lemolo Bay Advisors’ operations manager since the company’s start in 2023. Nyomi attended Olympic College’s Running Start program. She worked for years as a barista, which meant she could do a lot of things at once while also serving customers. This made her a natural operations manager. Nyomi has been the keystone to Lemolo Bay Advisors early growth and success as well as the success of our clients. She was born in Washington state and has lived here most of her life. She enjoys everything this beautiful place has to offer. In her free time, you will likely find her creating something in the pottery studio or spending time with her family. She is committed to helping nonprofits achieve their mission.

Magnus works as a researcher, editor, and graphic designer for Lemolo Bay Advisors. He graduated from North Kitsap High school and received his Bachelor of Arts from The Evergreen State College in 2020. He studied political economy. Magnus has career experience in the culinary arts and is the songwriter, drummer, and instrumentalist for the black metal band Noceur. Magnus is an avid reader and listener to podcasts. He is a phenomenal cook and artist, often working on one or the other until early in the morning.

Michele has worked with non-profits as a project manager since graduating with her Master of Environmental Management from Duke University. She studied ecology and environmental management. She has worked with land trusts in North Carolina, Colorado, and western Washington. She has also worked as a salmon restoration planner, managed a farmer’s market, and worked with a number of groups that support trail systems. Her work has always been about making a tangible difference locally. In her free time, she’s trail running or hiking, botanizing or looking for mushrooms, walking her dogs, or curled up with a library book.

Erland works with clients to solve their CRM and data management problems. He is also a keen editor and consultant. Erland has a Masters in Information Science from the University of Washington. He graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a degree in philosophy and a minor in African American studies. He’s currently enrolled in a graduate program for applied ethics at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. Erland enjoys the outdoors and is an avid hiker. He reads a lot. And he is a wonderful conversationalist. He can also find the error in any document. He moonlights as an academic librarian at Olympic College.

Gabrielle Thetford's preferred pronouns are She/Her. Gabby was raised in Poulsbo, WA, and moved to Seattle a few years after high school. While in Seattle, she worked in the veterinary and coffee fields. While new to consulting, her experience across multiple industries brings a practical and adaptable perspective to each engagement.
Outside of work, she enjoys continuous learning, spending time on her small business, Groovey Grinds Coffee, and crafting up a chunky knit blanket. Gabby is a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. You can find her on an off day either reading her favorite thriller, or tuning into a new true crime podcasts or documentaries.
